2019 Fall Tech Classes

Fall tech classes include beginning & intermediate programming (Code-a-Game), beginning & intermediate robotics (Create Your Own Robo Hero), and video creation. Classes will be held once a week over 8 weeks; Snacks = 3:45 PM – 4:00 and Class = 4:00 – 5:15.

Cost: $80 per class – scholarships are available  based on need (snacks are provided)

Wednesdays

Andrea Mooney
Code-a-Game I & II: have fun learning basic and more advanced programming skills through designing and coding a digital game.  Students will also have the chance to build a Piper computer and learn how computers work. (1 seat remaining)
Level: Grade 3 and above with no computing experience or Grade 2 with some experience. Students are encouraged to take this class a second time to build their skills.

Create Your Own Robo Hero I & II: learn to build & program a LEGO robot

Level: Grade 4 and above, with some computer experience or good math/science skills. Students are encouraged to take this class a second time to build their skills.

Isaac Robinson
The Art of Video Creation: tell a story in your own way by developing & editing an original video.  (3 seats remaining)
Level: Grade 6 and above, with some computer experience and a message to tell.
