2019 Fall Tech Classes

Fall tech classes include beginning & intermediate programming (Code-a-Game), beginning & intermediate robotics (Create Your Own Robo Hero), video creation, and 3D printing. Classes will be held once a week over 8 weeks; 3:40 PM – 5:15 PM.

Cost: $80 per class – scholarships are available  based on need (snacks are provided)

Mondays
Sept 30 – Nov 18
Andrea Mooney
Code-a-Game I & II: have fun building a computer and learning basic and more advanced programming skills  
Level: Grade 3 and above with no computing experience or Grade 2 with some experience. Students are encouraged to take this class a second time to build their skills.
Tuesdays
Oct 1 – Nov 19
Scott Seibert
Create Your Own Robo Hero: learn to build & program a LEGO robot 
Level: Grade 4 and above, with some computer experience or good math/science skills. Students are encouraged to take this class a second time to build their skills.
Thursdays
Sept 26 – Nov 21
Isaac Robinson
The Art of Video Creation: tell a story in your own way by developing & editing an original video. 
Level: Grade 5 and above, with some computer experience and a message to tell.
Tuesdays
Oct 15 – Nov 19
Nick Wethington
3D Printing: design and print your own creation.
Level: Grade 4 and above, with some computer experience.

Class Timing:  Snack 3:40 – 3:50; Class 3:50 – 5:15
