2019 Summer Coding Camps

Summer camp fun with SEVEN week-long adventures in beginning programming, robotics, digital art, biomimicry, and Arduino inventions. Classes can be retaken to build up skills.

July 8 – 12  Code-a-Game: have fun building a computer and learning basic programming skills  
(1 seat left) Level: Grade 3 and above with no computing experience or Grade 2 with some experience
July 29 – Aug 2 Create Your Own Robo Hero: learn to build & program a LEGO robot 
(8 seats left) Level: Grade 4 and above, with some computer experience or good math/science skills
July 8 – 12 Robotics Just for Girls: design a robotic medical assistant  
(7 seats left) Level: Grade 4 and above, with some computer experience or good math/science skills
July 22 – 26 Robot Challenge: enter the challenge – create the most awesome VEX robot  
(11 seats left) Level: Grade 5 and above with some computer experience or good math/science skills
July 22 – 26 Unleash Your smART Powers: learn to design, paint & draw on a digital canvas  
(7 seats left) Level: Grade 5 and above
July 22 – 26 Biomimicry; Design Like a Shark: explore nature and become a natural inventor  
(6 seats left) Level: Grade 5 and above
July 15 – 19 Maker Space, Invent Your Own Device: design & program an electronic device  
(9 seats left) Level: Grade 6 and above, with some programming experience
Take on Amazon: canceled due to a family emergency. 
June 10,11, 12 Fly Your Drone: flight lessons  
(7 seats left) Level: Previous drone classes

Cost: $125 per camp – scholarships are available  based on need (lunch and drinks included)

Class Timing:  Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM & Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
