This beginning computing course is offered for students in grade 1 or 2 in conjunction with a parent/guardian. The student/parent pair will build a Piper computer and learn the basics of how a computer works and how it can be programmed for both fun and work. Participants will build basic electrical circuits and write simple programs to help them solve a Minecraft mystery!
This class is limited to 5 student/parent pairs.
Level: Grade 1 or 2 (along with a parent or guardian)
Cost: $80 for 8 sessions – scholarships are available (snacks included)
